Here is what we do. Here is what we don’t.
Earntaps is a matching layer. We are not a SEBI-registered investment adviser, not an AMFI-registered distributor, and we do not manage money. The full list, in plain English, sits below.
1. Earntaps is a matching layer
Earntaps Private Limited (“Earntaps”) routes you to one partner — an advisor, planner, tax CA, NRI specialist, or a vetted plan or product. We do not manage your money. We do not advise on specific securities. We do not hold custody of any assets. The matching layer ends the moment you start a relationship with the matched partner.
2. Not a SEBI-registered investment adviser
Earntaps is not registered with the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) as an Investment Adviser (RIA) or Research Analyst (RA). We do not provide investment advice as defined under the SEBI (Investment Advisers) Regulations, 2013.
The partner advisors we route you to are independently SEBI-registered where the regulation applies, and they advise you under their own registration and accountability.
3. Not an AMFI-registered mutual fund distributor
Earntaps is not registered with the Association of Mutual Funds of India (AMFI) as a mutual fund distributor. We do not distribute mutual funds. Where we mention mutual fund baskets in our service descriptions, the actual distribution is handled by an AMFI-registered partner.
4. The AI check is not advice
The Earntaps AI check is built to gather context for a match. The output, including the Wealth Health Snapshot, may include observations or directional ideas about where the gaps in your situation appear to sit. None of it is financial advice.
You should not treat anything in the check, the chat, or the snapshot as a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any specific security, fund, insurance product, or financial instrument. Always speak to a SEBI-registered advisor or other qualified professional before acting.
5. No guarantees on returns or outcomes
Investments in the securities market are subject to market risks. Read all related documents carefully before investing. Past performance of any partner, fund, scheme, or product is not a guarantee of future performance. No introduction we make is a guarantee of any specific return, outcome, or fit.
Registrations granted to partners by SEBI, AMFI, IRDAI, PFRDA, or any other regulator, and certifications such as NISM, CFP, CFA, or equivalent, do not guarantee performance or assure any returns.
6. Partner conduct is not our liability
We vet partners at onboarding and re-verify quarterly. Drop-offs happen. Despite that, once you start a relationship with a matched partner, the advice they give you and the products they sell you are governed by your contract with them and their own regulatory accountability. We are not a party to that relationship and we are not liable for it.
7. Information is educational, not personalised
Content on earntaps.com, including blog posts, calculators, the Wealth Health Snapshot template, and any explanatory copy, is for general information only. It is not tailored to your specific circumstances, risk profile, or jurisdiction. You should not rely on it as a substitute for professional advice.
8. Market data and third-party content
Where the service uses market data, benchmark figures, or third-party content, we do our best to keep it accurate and current. We do not warrant accuracy, completeness, or timeliness. The site may link to third-party sites. We are not responsible for the accuracy, legality, or content of any third-party site or service.
9. Forward-looking statements
Anything that reads as a projection, estimate, or forward-looking statement — about market direction, partner performance, your portfolio future, or anything else — is based on current assumptions and may turn out wrong. Actual outcomes will differ. Treat all forward-looking text as indicative only.
10. Jurisdiction and applicability
The Earntaps service is built primarily for Indian residents and NRIs. If you access this service from another jurisdiction, the onus is on you to ensure your use complies with the local laws of that jurisdiction.
